The unit tests need to be improved to check more edge cases as well as be more specific in the current tests.

  • [ ] Update current tests to check more specific things.
  • [ ] Increase the coverage of what is being tested.
  • [ ] Add tests that ensure that the error checking is working.
  • [ ] Add more specific errors if there is a need.
