Only time works

Is there any special setup I need to do to have this work?

I only get this after adding the "Microsoft Visual Studio" to my discord games list. Rich Presence

If I don't add it to the list it doesn't show up at all.

I've tried:

  • toggling the different options off and on and restarting VS 2017
  • switching code file tabs a few times

Visual Studio Version etc.

I started Visual Studio in admin mode and it started working.

Interesting. I'll have to do some testing on my end to see if/why it only works when you're an admin.

I'm facing a similar issue, adding non admin VS really messes with Discord. I tried switching to admin and had that working for a while, but it seems to not work much anymore. Windows 10 btw

@Salads This time that appear in your playing, you added visual studio as game manually in discord settings. You need to wait DiscordRPCVS automatically add visual studio as game.

Tried re-installing both visual studio and DiscordRPCVS? Works on my end withoud any admin stuffs.
