Enable importing external files into the project

Summary

While it is possible to create new files under certain directories, it is not possible to import other static files such as images.

Motivation

How to add pics/other static files inside app/static/..?

I can create new files for js/sol/css/html.. so I'm stuck at images and dir structures.
