Silent failure when importing files without having storage space available

Description

When importing without storage room, the operation silently fails.

Steps to reproduce

1. Get to a point where the local storage is full *
2. Import a new file by accessing the Import action from the context menu (right mouse button)

Expected result

On-screen error message, an alert or an error message sent to the browser console.

Actual result

Nothing gets imported and no error message on the browser console or user alerts appears.
