JPG support not compiled into SDL2_image which Steam version uses

Okay, but then why are there still JPG files used in the steam version?

SuperTux version: latest steam ver.

You can find the version of the game from the main menu, on the bottom-left corner of the screen. For example, this version is "v0.6.3-572-g0de68b210": image Please include the full version (the whole thing that's on the right of "SuperTux", until the end of the line) to make it easier for people to know which version the problem is on.

Okay, but then why are there still JPG files used in the steam version?

This is often referred to as a "bug". In this case, the bug has yet to be fixed.

@mrkubax10 Not too sure, IIRC the Steams builds are exactly the same as the release builds. Have you checked about that and if yes, can you provide a fix?

yea its 0.6.3

still, does anyone know a way to fix this? other images dont cause issues even if its a simmilar file format, maybe they are already set in the game's code or something?
