Level "Shocking" is a bit unfair w/o sound

The problem

In the level Shocking from the Forest World, the water occassionally turns deadly because of lightning.

There is a thunder sound played shortly before the water hurts you.

But what if sound is turned off? Then there is no such warning. That's a problem.

Why would someone turn off the sound on a sound based level? That’s just stupid and their own fault imo.

An optic warning just before any shock would be even more confusing. I guess keeping this level as is, is the best option. It‘s not a bug, it’s a feature. Closing this for now.

Why would someone turn off the sound on a sound based level?

How are you supposed to know that it’s a sound based level if you don’t play with sound? Don’t forget that SuperTux can also be played by deaf people. The water could crackle before each shock similar to Zelda BOTW. However, I’m not sure whether this would work well with two shocking ambients with a slightly different interval.

I think that this is a valid reason to add a visual warning before a lighting strike. You could brighten the clouds in the background for a short moment when the sound playing begins.
