Is this still coming to Safari?

On the main page it says that the extension is waiting approval but somewhere else I remember reading a few weeks ago that development has been halted on Safari. Is this still coming or no? Is there any way to just get the extension without Apple's approval? Fuck them and fuck youtube comments!
