curl in opensuse was patched. I queried changelog of curl package in opensuse and found this: `- don't hardcode /etc/ssl/certs. Use openssl's default instead` That is why it was working...
If this https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/44283 PR gets merged we can use CURL_CA_BUNDLE set custom ca-bundle. I will push the previous implementation and we can wait until ceph PR gets in.
I will continue working on this PR after https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/44283 PR gets merged to ceph.
