Text uppercase for days initials in italian

Is it possible to set days initial (l,m,m,g,v,s,d) on top of the horizontal calendar with text uppercase (L,M,M,G,V,S,D)? I only have this behaviour if I set italian language as primary on the emulator. In English they already are uppercase. Many thanks.
