Windows

Describe the issue.

Whenever I resync bases on my buddy's server, all but one of the tiles of the base switch to around 99% completed for me and another friend, potentially softlocking if we don't have a base-making tool on hand. The lockers inside stay intact, but the tiles turn 99%.

Describe the steps you took to encounter the bug.

The tiles in question are a sync hab and a couple 4 way junctions, the way in is a t junction with a hatch on top, and that never has the 99% issue, but all other pieces will revert to ~99% whenever resynced. I did place all base tiles, except the foundation on which the a 4 way junction is placed(the host placed that), but the t junction was placed later, off the sync hab, which in turn is off the 4 way on the foundation.

Once at 99% , each player has to physically repair the sections themselves before they function properly.

You've mentionned using Resync button, is there a reason for that ?

Did you encounter any desync message ?

Early on, the first tile (a straight tube) I placed on the foundation bugged out and wouldn't let me place like a solar panel or a hatch on it, it mentioned a resync at like 500+ times. So we resynced, then I build off that, then at some point the first tube duplicated. I deleted one, couldn't delete the other that was in it's exact same spot, and had to resync AGAIN to get the "ghost pipe" to go away, but THAT caused the other parts except the T junction/hatch to go to 99%.

Even when I repair it back up to full, it's still 99% for the other players, even if they resync. Haven't tested with the host, since he's been off most the day.

Interesting, I'm currently trying to reproduce on my end

Next time the server is telling you about a desync, can you please try to relog instead of using resync button, to see if that does solve your building problems ?

For us, all almost all of the building peaces (except moonpools) are at 99% on reload, so everyone needs to have a construction tool to always rebuild the entire base for themselves on rejoin and not to get stuck. This currently happens 100% of the time so I would be happy to provide the save file if that would help for reproduction.
