Doesn't work with image files?

If I open an image file with Sublime Text, the following command doesn't work with it:

  • carry_file_to_pane
  • clone_file_to_pane
  • create_pane_with_file

It looks like image files are sheets internally, not views. I can rework the whole thing to use sheets, but then it wouldn't work in ST2. How annoying.
