Mote doesn't load

Open Donaldini opened this issue 11 years ago • 8 comments

I think Mote doesn't startup on my Windows 7 (64bit) machine. When I look at the console I see that there was a "Syntax Error" in the Mote.py file.

Anything I can do to remedy on my side?

Mote has not been ported to ST3 yet and does not work with it. However, taking a quick glance at the source it doesn't look to be much harder than a few adjustments.

So... I should downgrade to ST2 while you work on an update? Or what shouId I take from your answer :-)

I tried ST2 in the meantime, but still couldn't get it to work, probably did something wrong

I'm not affiliated with the package itself (I don't even know what it does) and I can't really help you with that right now, sorry. I don't have the time to port this, but maybe @hyperturtle will.

I've already done a port for ST3. Please take a look at my python-3 branch https://github.com/bluefire42/Mote/tree/python-3

@bluefire42 It also does not seem to work in my case as well. I had Sublime Text 3 and I have everything configured as in Read me file but could not see the command working. It gives me the same error as @Donaldini

How did you install the Mote-Plugin? It seems to me that you don't use my python-3 branch. Please download this archive: https://github.com/bluefire42/Mote/archive/python-3.zip and follow the readme.

@bluefire42 Thanks. I thought I had your python-3 version but copied the old ones anyways. Your version works great! Thanks.
