Can't list projects with "." in user name

I'm trying to browse through my gitlab projects, but it will only update the list if I click a user / group name without a "." in it. Since we have the convention "first-name.last-name", I can't use the interface :(

Does this also happen with GitHub and BitBucket repos, or is it just gitlab?

I'm not sure, I only used strider with gitlab.
