Torrent IP Check Tools

Using a torrent IP check tool, such as http://checkmyip.torrentprivacy.com works in the full stremio app, but not stremio service for some reason. If you're using a VPN split tunnel, for example, it seems impossible to test if stremio is going through the VPN or not.
