Stremio on VR
The request is not related to any current Stremio implementation however, I would like to state that I think it is possible for Stremio Android app to be ported to work on a Quest VR environment since it is built on the same OS/kernel as the Android version is running.
I haven't tried yet, but there's also an app called SideQuest, which can install APK and OBB files into a VR headset. Later today, I'll see how it works, and maybe I can confirm that Stremio works as the same as on an Android device.
If this implementation could be possible to implement, I believe Stremio can get quite an attraction from VR users.
it works well when sideloaded, you will need to install the Android mobile apk from the website, the "ARM APK" one, then just resize the app window after starting the app
as for releasing to quest and "porting" the app, this is actually very complex because all the Quest apps have a VR environment, even all the video players, so we'd need to somehow run Stremio in a game engine, and none of our devs have game development experience
Hello, I'm a fan of the Stremio Application but in my opinion the Stremio Panel for Cell Phones and Boxes could be improved to have a much more beautiful and spectacular appearance....that's just my opinion....Thank you
