Bluetooth Headphone controls

Stremio version: 1.6.13 OS: Android

Problem I often watch movies and shows at work during downtime with my tablet slightly out of reach. With most media apps I use my headphones touch controls to pause and resume. Not being able to do this makes it very difficult because I can't use the on screen controls quickly.

Preferred solution I would love if the app had media controls in the notification panel so android would allow the Bluetooth controls to work on most devices.

Alternatives Ive Considered I've tried using external media players and apps that try to force control changes but nothing works well. Other media players do allow me to pause and play from my other devices but they do not keep track of my progress and data, they also cause stremio to feel more cluttered and messy which I don't prefer.

I'd really appreciate this feature being added (or fixed if it wasn't intended) its the only issue I've had with this service in my time using it. Thank you to the developers of stremio as its still one of the best experiences I've had with a platform 🫶
