Continue Watching not working when using external player (Infuse)

Currently using Infuse as an external player with the most recent Apple TV TestFlight beta, when I open s01e01 of a show, it marks it as watched and opens infuse to play it, which is fine, but when the episode is over and I go back to stremio, s01e02 should appear in continue watching but it does NOT. I have to find or search for the show I was watching via search bar or catalogs.
