Could this be why on Cosmic the titlebar is not using the right theme for that desktop?
It's not exactly the same issue, but it would solve yours! My request isn’t about fixing the theme itself, but about enabling an option to hide the titlebar and borders entirely (via client-side decorations or frameless mode). That way, even if the theme doesn’t match, you wouldn’t see the mismatch — which would definitely improve how it looks in both Cosmic and Wayland (which is the focus of this request).
As a reference, you might want to check how GNOME Videos or Showtime look in Cosmic. If they appear clean and well-integrated, this feature would likely allow Stremio to behave similarly — with the titlebar hidden and the controls integrated into the app window.
Really hoping the devs prioritize this — would love to finally see this addressed.
