stremio-bugs Subtitles not showing on Philips TV

Describe the bug Subtitles (from OpenSubtitles or even other addons) are not shown on any video file, for any language. I have tried re-installing both OpenSubtitles official addons but same issue.

The subtitles load fine on desktop version.

To Reproduce Happens when trying to load any subtitle for any stream. Only embedded subtitles work.

Expected behavior Seeing subtitles in the selected language for the selected stream.

Screenshots Not applicable, happens on TV app.

TV (please complete the following information):

Device: Philips 55PUS8837/12
OS: Android TV™ 11 --> not sure about this one

Additional context Everything was working fine around the end of July, beginning of August. No changes were applied on my side during this period. I am not using any VPN or Proxy.

No error, the subtitles simply do not load.

Check you vertical subtitles offset setting

I tried different amounts for the offset (0, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100) and also changing size to 250% - no difference, still no subtitles shown

edit to add: this is the first time I see these settings, these haven't changed before they stopped appearing around the end of July
