No addons were able to provide streams” error on Apple TV
Stremio Platform
tvOS Beta
Describe the bug
When attempting to view details or play a show/movie in the Stremio Apple TV app, the message “No addons were able to provide streams” appears. If the user goes back and reopens the same title, the streams load correctly. This behavior occurs intermittently and only on the Apple TV app — not on the iOS app.
To Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the Stremio app on Apple TV. 2. Navigate to any show or movie (tested with multiple titles). 3. Wait for metadata and streams to load. 4. Observe the error message: “No addons were able to provide streams.” 5. Go back to the previous screen. 6. Reopen the same show/movie — streams now appear as expected.
Expected behavior
Expected Result:
Streams should load normally on the first attempt, as they do in the iOS app.
Actual Result:
An error appears initially saying “No addons were able to provide streams,” even though the same content loads correctly upon retrying.

Notes
Additional Notes: • Issue does not occur on iOS (same network, same account, same add-ons). • The issue seems to happen before metadata or stream caching completes. • Possibly a timing or initialization issue with metadata providers on Apple TV. • Screenshot attached showing the error state.
I am getting the same error on Apple TV using Stremio version V1.3.1b2, Core version v0.5.0.
Same here
Fixed on 1.3.2
It's not fixed. Still occurring.
Same on my end unfortuanetly.
