No addons sync on atv after installing stremio lite.

Describe the bug
Install stremio lite on my atv 4k this morning logged in using my iPad as directed and none of my addons sync. When trying to play a title i get a message saying no addons. I checked stremio on my iPad and it's working fine. I use torrentio rd and have a real debrid account. Uninstalled torrentio rd addon on iPad and installed again and it still works on iPad but not seeing addons on apple tv 4k. I was directed from reddit to state my issue here.

Go to a title click on it and it's supposed to open but I get a message stating no addons

Did you sync your add ons first? In the tvOS app, go to the "Addons" option on the left side navigation and click the "Sync Addons" button to get them installed.
Hey no that wasn't the first thing i did after logging in. I went to play a title and got the message there are no addons. So then I went to addons and clicked sync and nothing showed up. I tried it a few more times then checked stremio on my iPad and it worked on the iPad still and the addons were all there but not on atv. I logged out on atv and back in and same thing. I did read others had this issue before on other devices and that clearing the cache or logging out on all other devices might fix the addons missing thing. I know i have stremio running on a few devices in my house. Not all open at the same time but definitely logged in. Any suggestions?

try logging out and loggin in again and then go to addons and sync addons
Hey thanks for getting back to me. I figured it out and posted it on the reddit for others. I turned off the VPN and that did it. I can verify that as soon as I turned off Nord and went to play a title it worked and all my addons were there. I will say that after doing so, the first thing I did was go back to addons and try a sync but nothing showed up except for once you click a title they all do. Then I just had to choose torrentio rd and it played. I went through a few others just to be sure they're working and so far no issues. I then turned the VPN back on and am able to watch no issues. Now the only issue is some atmos movies play without sound and I'm guessing as I've also read that has something to do with the player so looks like we'll have to wait until you add infuse. For now my processor can upmix the dts neural x. Thanks for the help.

I have the same problem as you, but turning off VPN doesn't help. On the main page, I can see all the lists as on other devices, but the add-ons are not synchronized and nothing can be played.
I also have the same problem. Message says all sync. But no addon is synced
I have the same problem. Steps I've taken to try to resolve this:
- Be patient. I mention this becomes some content initially showed the "no addons" message but later the content showed up. I suspected it might be taking time to propagate/sync so I waited. Tried again today and same message so being patient only helped a little.
- Signed out and back in.
- I'm not running a VPN, but I saw that as a fix, and I am running a Raspberry Pi-Hole, so I changed my DNS settings on my ATV to use 8.8.8.8.
- I verified on my iPhone that I have the three add-ons installed (Torrentio, Rocket, Comet - I think!) and then I hit the Sync Addons button on the ATV interface.
- Restarted my ATV, signed out, and signed back in again.
None of the above have worked so I had to go back to the Android app on my Google TV.

Same issue. I've tried every single version of troubleshooting I can think of (signing out, updating ATV, deleting the app and reinstalling... etc).
Not sure if having the TestFlight app on iOS could have screwed this up? But so deflating to finally have the TVOS app and not be able to use it! :(

Yep—just made a completely fresh Stremio account and tried again and had the same issue. No VPN or DNS tricks on my Apple TV. Current gen hardware. I’m really stumped and bummed!
Same issue here on Apple TV. No add-on's available even after Sync Add-ons.
I think I've stumbled upon a workaround, but not a fix. I was just checking to see if I was still getting the "no addons" message for a show we watch. I clicked on the show, and got the "no addons" message. I hit the Back button on my ATV remote but then accidentally clicked on the center of the wheel (select button). The show re-loaded and all the episodes appeared.
I've tried it on 5 or 6 shows that had "no addons" and every single one it has worked when I back out and re-enter. Might be something that works for others, too. Good luck!
Two of my ATV 4k's works, installed like 3 days ago. Trying to install on an older ATV and addons don't seem to sync, even though it keeps saying it does. Played something on phone, and that is showing up on the older ATV but nothing else. Tried logging out and in and still the same thing. Weird
Edit: what rickworrell said works on the older ATV. Go into the item, back out, wait a few seconds (like 10), and then go back and it shows stuff. Wondering if it has something to do with device resources
