[Bug]: The application does not show all built-in subtitles and audio tracks [ Tizen ]

Open adWroc opened this issue 9 months ago • 6 comments

Stremio Platform

Samsung Native TV App

Describe the bug

Movie 1: contains 3 audio tracks ( Eng 7.1 TrueHD, Eng 5.1 AC3 and PL 5.1 AC3 ) the app on Samsung TV shows only 2 (in English). Of course the android app shows all 3.

Movie 2: contains Polish subtitles built in (the list of built-in subtitles includes several different languages), but the Polish subtitles aren't available in Tizen app - they are just missing from the list. If I play the movie on Android (Chromecast 4 or my phone), they're available. The same movie has two English audio tracks, TrueHD 7.1 and AC3 5.1, on android both are available but only 7.1 is available in the application on the Tizen system.

For exact file names, see notes below.

To Reproduce

Start the movie, select the subtitle or audio track selection icon.

Expected behavior

All embedded subtitles and audio tracks should be available - just like in the Android app.

not all audio tracks are supported by tv thats why not all of them are being displayed same for subtitles not all subtitles formats are supported by smart tv player thats why not all of them are being available

But the TV can play AC3 audio. Why one 5.1 AC3 track is available and the other not?

This is not a TV problem, this is an app problem. The codecs are the same for track 2 and 3. I think it's because the duration is different (this is a remux, the video and audio are from different sources) and the app has a problem with that. Android app is ok.

I have the exact same problem... I'll get everything from polish dubs, DVD commentaries, etc but no original English audio track... Everything works fine on Windows and Android, definitely a Tizen problem
