Cannot install from Chrome Web-store

Cannot install from Chrome Web-store,

when attempting, Web-store responds with following message

An error has occurred There was a problem with the download. Please contact the developer or try again later.

Invalid manifest

Please help!

This should because it does not support chrome extension manifest version 2. Here is a fork that fix it.

You have to manually install this package into chrome 67 by following these steps:

0, Download the zip package, and unzip it somewhere, 1, Open chrome extensions page by inputting "chrome://extensions/" in browser address bar, 2, Turn on the "Developer mode" on the top right, 3, Click "LOAD UNPACKED" to load this extension package.

The only thing is that every time you restart Chrome all your extensions are disabled and Chrome displays the following pop up message at the first Chrome window:

Disable developer mode extensions

Extensions running in developer mode can harm your computer. If you are not a developer you should disable these extensions running in developer mode to stay safe.

Just click the "X" at the upper right corner of the pop up message and all of your extensions will appear including "Change Colours"

Ok.. It works but only with PAST websites that you changed their colours When you click "Change Colors", it's three buttons have no text in them and clicking either of the 3 of them does nothing whatsoever to change the colours of any website

Please someone fix this issue!

damn, i have tried anorqiu9 version but it is unusable because the right mouse menu is empty: https://s15.postimg.cc/pxl6ofokr/Senzanome.png why? i love this estension, I have used it for years :-(

@lodgerz Thanks, the fork you found works perfectly for me as well. For those who want to install from chrome store, I copied that to store. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/change-colors/ageghplgcapnfpdhapeemolbmfccclke I'll delete it if the author contact me to do so, since I don't have any permission.

@srndpty image or video is covered by change-colors in some website, can you solve it？
