Could you please attempt to run Hammer with -winecompat passed into the command line args?

I would also strongly suggest upgrading your GTX 1050's GPU driver to v580

-winecompat did not make any difference, I also tested drivers 580, 550, 570

Are you able to run any dx11 game with proton or wine w/dxvk? We aren't doing anything crazy in our renderer (and certainly not interacting with Vulkan directly except on Linux builds). Does the game itself run under the same wine/proton environment?

Yes, I have not had any issues with dx11 games using proton, however its using the default wine prefix as of the script included. I have attempted to run it though the same prefix as p2ce with proton-tricks but I could not get it working, I might attempt again to use proton.
