Just like how you can directly preview sprites in hammer, I think it's also pretty important to be able to preview how our beam_spotlights would look like before we compile.

why is pretty much every single good quality of life improvements on H++

my god if P2:CE and H++ merged it would make the most versatile and powerful version of hammer we'd ever get.

You can use their p2ce.fgd and that's it - you have merged.

The main improvement of their Hammer is greatly improved FGD file, other changes are either not significant, or H++ has their analogues.
