USER ISSUE: Cannot properly connect to some servers, for some reason

Open ugotmoxie opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

User Id: (73550ce8-19c3-4496-dc9e-08dd0b3bb4a7) Version: 0.11.1.2 beta release-767

Steps to Reproduce:

Expected behavior: I should have connected into the server I was trying to join; the loading process should have progressed past the "loading... pending packets" section.

Actual behavior: Download speeds crater to 50 bytes per second, no further messages or signs of download pop up. Nothing happens until I disconnect.

Do you have mods installed? Does the issue happen when no mods are installed?: No.

(Attached is a log file, with a successful server connection at 5:02:57 and an unsuccessful server connection at 5:04:51. Connection was cancelled when download speeds cratered to 50 b/s.) log.txt

Same Issue.

Download speed started at ~600KB/s, but slowly was going down. At 23%, 1.12MB, download progress slowed to 61B/s. Log in is effectively stuck, no progress after half an hour so I just canceled. Retried, got to 1.18MB before it slowed down, retried again and got to 1.15MB.

Server: Gian Panda (day 1). Had no issues couple hours earlier.

For any future reports, please add:

  • Client Logs
  • Your location (country), ISP and type of internet connection as well as your router
  • The server you tried to join to and if it has any mods

I should note I was doing some more diagnostics and I noticed there was an error I was getting from Edge Webview2 whenever it happened
