USER ISSUE: Framerate drop in shop; sometimes persists after closing shop UI
User Id: (Not logged user)
Version: 0.10.0.3 beta release-547
Steps to Reproduce: Open a store with large inventory. Browse and buy something.
Expected behavior: Item is bought and no performance impact is noticed.
Actual behavior: The shop UI makes the frame rate drop dramatically. Most of the time, this frame rate drop disappears a second or two after closing the shop UI. Sometimes (randomly, as far as I can tell), the frame rate issues persist and the only thing that will fix it is restarting the game.
Do you have mods installed? Does the issue happen when no mods are installed?: No mods installed.
**Please provide log files. Instruction is here https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoIssues/wiki/Getting-the-Eco-game-log-file
Thought it was related to shop UI at first, but it's not. It simply happens randomly. Could have been playing for 10 minutes or an hour, the frame rate suddenly drops from 110+ to 15 when looking at the town. The only way to fix it is to restart my client. The town normally doesn't have any noticeable frame drop.
Please follow the steps outlined here and attach the files required either here or via mail as mentioned:
Very easy to reproduce, Adding more tabs or categories causes major lag.
It's as if the whole shop UI with all items that are out of view rendered.
You can also stumble upon the problem where the Shop UI of someone's shop overlays mixes with your own shop. This makes me think the Shop UI is being kept in memory.
We had one problem in our game where Twinsen shop was constantly creating an upgrade category none-stop. Was not visible from his POV but was for everyone else. When the category was persistent even if you re-logged and only was removed when Twinsen removed the category all the categories was removed.
