[Feature Request]: Language selection overhaul
Feature Description
Language selection menu needs to be larger, aim to have as many languages in view as possible to minimise scrolling
Flags need to be removed from menu
Why is this feature valuable?
Due to the global nature of the project flags representing languages can be considered inappropriate. Increasing the size of the language select box will mitigate reduced "At a glance" readability caused by removing the flags.
Suggested Implementation
Quite a good guide here https://www.flagsarenotlanguages.com/blog/best-practice-for-presenting-languages/
Increase the width of the selection box, present languages in rows not just one long list, apply responsive design to ensure usability on resized windows/mobile

Can you assign to me?
@reecebrowne If I understand correctly that you want to split from dropdown to multiple columns right? But I don't know how to identify the number of columns. Is this based on the size of UI (for example, for web 7 columns but mobile only 3)?
Hi, yes you should focus on making the dropdown size appropriate for the window size, so look into a responsive design with a grid that changes the number of columns it has to fit the space. Not all languages need to be visible at once without scrolling necessarily but the current design is unnecessarily cramped but ensure it still works when the window is scaled down and on mobile devices.
