Filtering event files in wavelength units instead of energy

The Chandra HRC/LETG event files do not have an energy column, but the wavelength is stored in the tg_lam column, would be very useful to have an option to build light curves, power spectra, etc using a filter in wavelength. Thanks! -Juan
