About DSi scaling.

I'm currently using gameyob on a DSi (not xl) and scaling is very ugly. Writing are ruined and so on, even with scaling filter on. Is there a solution or is it a problem of the screen?

The problem is that this emulator doesn't use bilinear filtering, it uses a very soft filter instead. I have been researching the same thing for a long time now, and it seems that the developer expertise is not on filters etc. It is a shame because this is the most amazing and fastest emulator of the Gameboy, even better than emulators on the 3DS.
