Hmm I prefer [chromaterm](https://github.com/hSaria/ChromaTerm), since it works even over ssh or can be called locally with the "ct" operand -- how is the above better?

Leaving dependency issues up to the user is lazy coding, python for instance has a "try" statement that is useful for loading dependencies ... here is some code I wrote...

I get it going to a separate screen for about 1/10 of a second, then it returns unexpectedly back at the shell prompt
