Skyrim VR not working

Doesn't seem to be working for me in VR. When installing into an existing playthrough with other mods, I get a crash as soon as the message appears that Smart Harvest is enabled.

When starting a new playthrough with other mods, I don't get a crash, but nothing happens. So I created a new clean profile in Vortex with no other mods except the VR versions of SKSE, address library, and merge mapper. Also Realm of Lorkhan so I don't have to spend an hour just to get to a point where I can check for functionality. Mod appears to load, but nothing happens again.

It appears to be running...I can hit the pause key and while no message pops up or anything, the log shows "Reference search paused/unpaused". I did load the defaults from the ini, but don't see any changes in the settings there.
