LoTD Night at the Museum quest borks excess loot transfer containers

Nexus report from user vithmiel

I was getting consistent CTDs when I load in today. Not always immediately, but when I start doing anything (fighting, getting close to something, etc). Crash logging pointed directly to SmartHarvest. But why? I've been using this mod and having solid very high mod count load orders for years, and this character hasn't had a problem until today. I couldn't figure it out.

And then it hit me so suddenly that I actually gasped out loud. If you're also using Legacy of the Dragonborn (and why wouldn't you!) and happen to be on the Night at the Musem quest so the museum/safehouse/etc is currently out of commission, but you also have SH pointing its auto loot transfer to any containers in there, bingo, CTDs. I reloaded a slightly earlier autosave before I was near anything, disabled all my auto loot transfers, and it's working just fine. I'll go knock out that dang LOTD quest and will report back if it misbehaves again even when the museum is reopened, but I can almost guarantee that's the problem. Thanks to the mod author for a great mod and good luck everyone!

UPDATE: Finishing the quest didn't fix it by itself. Apparently the Safehouse containers (ore, leather supply, sell chest.. everything except the Clutter chest, from what I can tell) are different after Night at the Museum. SmartHarvest no longer sees them as valid containers and throws the error of needing to be in a playerhome/needing to be a permanent container or whatnot. CTD again. So, I removed those containers from the loot transfer destination list even though I wasn't able to re-add them, and everything is working great once more. Whether this issue is LOTD doing something janky to the Safehouse after that quest or SH not seeing something or some other weird conflict resolution issue, I have no idea, but if it's working that's good enough for me and maybe it'll be good enough for someone else :)

UPDATE to UPDATE: They're back to being usable containers now.. I don't know if it just took some fast travelling around or waiting X days or what. Anyway. All's well that ends well?
