Help with Wixel app
I built my Wixel and soldered everything, connected the battery and to my surprise it started lighting up! I connected to my Mac and the Wixel configuration utility even recognized it! Wow this going to be easy.... but for the life of me I can't build the app. The command to install sdcc didn't work so I found a command that did and install it. When I run the make command I get: Russs-MacBook-Air:wixel-xDrip-master russ$ make Compiling apps/dexdrip/dexdrip.rel apps/dexdrip/dexdrip.c:43: syntax error: token -> 'FHMT' ; column 56 make: *** [apps/dexdrip/dexdrip.rel] Error 1
I'm pretty sure more files were put in the Dexdrip folder, but no app. Any thought would be appreciated.
You can install the xbridge version : https://github.com/jstevensog/wixel-sdk/blob/master/apps/xBridge2/xBridge2.wxl You can install t his directly via the Wixel configuration utility.
Doesn't matter if you've build an xdrip or xbridge. The sofware will run. Advantage is that you can set the sensor id via the Android app, so you don't need to do the make stuff.
Once you have the Android app installed and bluetooth connection, then go to settings, Verify dat hardware data source is set to "xbridge Wixel", if that's not the case just change it. Then you will see the option to set the sensor id (or Transmitter id)
Hi. Im having the same trouble. Now i cant install this xbridge version. Help :(
Im computer illiterate. I watched the youtube video Andrew posted on the nightscout website and i could follow that no problem...also there are links and instructions to follow. I could understand all of that....but when I go onto the link posted above Im lost. How do I download and what do I need to download in order to reprogram my wixel. Bluetooth shows up on my uploader phone as HMSoft...instead of xbridge. I followed the xdrip instructions on website but it didnt rewrite...it said on my computer that it did but when I scan for bluetooth now it doesnt show up.

But from what I could read you actually installed this. I don't think the name HMSoft must be changed, it's not always the case to my understanding. I've also got an xdrip with name "xdrip" but it has the xbridge software.
When you open the Android app, did you set hardware source to xbridge ? Did you set the transmitter it correct ?
YES!! I worked!! Thanks so much for your time. I was able to download and reprogram my wixel. Now just waiting for it to pick up my sons transmitter. I doublechecked all of what you listed and all is set. Thank you !!
