Keep this "issue" open so we can all say, "This is so cool!" Just heard about it on the Mac Geek Gab. I do a lot of live demos to user groups and it drives me nuts having the screen on my 6K Pro Display XDR down at 1920x1080 for the viewers. I can't have any other apps open to refer to notes, for example. Now, with Deskpad, I can give them the view they want AND have ample screen real estate to house other documents.
Haha, an "appreciation issue" is a nice idea to make maintaining OSS a little more joyful!

It's so good! I have a 49inch monitor and have to do all sorts of hacks with OBS preview on a laptop monitor auto following mouse cursor etc. This is much easier!
I'm using this so I can have an "chomecast desktop". I have a TV setup on my wall in my office. I like to have dashboards displayed on there, rotating through various webpages on chrome. This allows me to "cast my desktop screen" for the virtual desktop and keep working on main mac screen and secondary screens.
As a speaker this software is pure gold to me - I can "live code" and share that while having the possibility to have a slide preview - meaning I don't have to "mirror" but can extend share the second screen which is just the best thing ever! Makes live coding 1000 times easier when talking!
