astrocal monthly graph: clicking in the graph should re-use selected time

Open axd1967 opened this issue 2 months ago • 1 comments

The mouse click is impossible to aim accurately; in fact, clicking in the graph results in an almost random date/time jump.

So, at least the TIME should be locked.

It might also be helpful if the graph bears a vertical line showing the current date/time. (similar to the purple vertical in some graphs)

Also, I suspect that increasing the thickness of the lines in the various graphs will make it easier to hover over the line in order to see the data popup.

Also, when clicking outside the line, a date/time jump occurs, but not when clicking on the line.

Maybe review this in all graphs?

Steps to reproduce

System

  • Stellarium version: 25.3
  • Operating system: <Name, version number>
  • Graphics Card: <Manufacturer (likely Intel, NVidia, AMD?), Model (HD, Geforce, Radeon..., with model number), driver version?>
  • Screen type (if applicable): Resolution, HighDPI, scaling

Logfile

If possible, attach the logfile log.txt from your user data directory. Look into the Guide for its location.

When working on this graph, pls consider adding a 0 degree horizontal line.

But even better is to use the filled altitude input box to draw a line at that altitude, so the usr can select any desired altitude (as well as filter on that same altitude).
