Polygon boundary disappears when either flip scene button is selected
I use a custom polygon boundary which works and displays a pink line around the boundary, unless flip scene button is pushed.
Expected Behaviour
Example: Geneva landscape — Pink boundary line should stay displayed when flip scene button is pushed.
Actual Behaviour
Example: Geneva landscape — Pushing one flip scene button causes pink boundary line to not show. Pushing both flip scene buttons restores polygon boundary line.
Steps to reproduce
Choose a landscape with a polygon boundary. Click one flip scene button and polygon boundary will not show.
System
- Stellarium version: <Name of downloaded installable file?>
- Operating system: Mac Sequoia and PC Win11
- Graphics Card: <Mac, Intel>
- Screen type (if applicable): Resolution, HighDPI, scaling

If possible, attach the logfile log.txt from your user data directory. Look into the Guide for its location.
Something happened with the SphericalRegions. Recently someone complained the horizons are not allowed to go below zero degrees. This also used to work. Can you test this with a Qt5-based build of 24.4?
Hi Georg, Stellarium 24.4.0 QT5.12.6 Win 64bit has the same issue as QT6 where the horizon boundary of Geneva does not show if either Flip is conducted.

OK, thanks.
Probably issue #4022 is related
Hmm... I can't reproduce the issue.
Hi Alexander,
Latest 24.4 of Stellarium on Win11 or Mac Open Landscape window Select Geneva landscape
Minimal brightness 0.10 on From Landscape on Transparency 0.50 on Draw Only Polygon on (black background) or off (dark background) Show Ground on Close Landscape window Atmosphere [A] off Both Flip buttons off
Should see a round display with outer stars in dark green (if Geneva “Draw only Polygon” is off otherwise black background), then pink landscape border, then inner black background with white stars.
Turn either (not both) Flip button on and pink border disappears.
That is what happens on my displays.

I can reproduce with latest dev version: Stellarium 25.0+ (v25.0.61-a8d2146 [master]), on macOS Sequioa 15.3.1 (24D70).
Moreover, labels (from gazetteer) also disappear when flip scene button is pushed. Pushing button again restores the polygon line and the labels.
