Feature Discussion - Linux Support
This is a thread for discussing potential of Linux Support. What features are you hoping for, what does "Linux Support" look like to you, what would you expect vs not expect to see, etc etc?

Building went a lot smoother than I expected; .NET on linux has come a long way since Mono it seems.
Variable substitution from environment variables doesn't seem to work. I haven't had time to look at the code in detail to figure out why, but I tried several things and none seemed to work. Running build with the --VariableNameHere flag works fine.
As far as expectations go I would expect at least perfect feature parity, but that probably goes without saying. Some people might find pre-built binaries, or maybe even snap/apt packages, useful.
