Feature Request - Automatically check OS version before running update

I pressed the update button on an old system that was still running Bullseye.

I would have appreciated a "Update Cancelled - the version you are trying to update to is not compatible with your current OS version" message.

Didn't you get a message about this? This one :

I did not get that message.

Was running Debian 11 with rtkbase v2.5.

But I appreciate that you thought of it without me!

Mucked up my SSH OS upgrade so I climbed the ladder and we're going straight to Debian 13 now.

I did not get that message.

Hmm, that's not the way it should work. From Debian 11 with RTKBase v2.5, it should update to the v2.6 at first, then to v2.6.4. But you should get the "too old" message when trying to update to v2.7
