Connecting UM982 via UART

Open krechet3003 opened this issue 1 month ago • 3 comments

Hello, what if I have a UM982 with only a UART interface? Will it also be able to automatically detect and configure itself? And which pins should I connect to?

I connected the um982 via a USB-TTL converter. The Raspberry Pi sees satellites and coordinates for 20 seconds, then stops.

I don't own an UM982. Maybe other users who use the receiver could help you.

I connected the F9P and everything worked right away. Can the RTCM serial service output data to a radio modem? For example, an RD400D or a Harxon?

Hello, I've already configured the system with the RD400D-TB, but I need to connect the GNSS module with a B0503S-3WR2 to create isolation. I don't know why it doesn't work without isolation.

If you prefer, it's better to use the Raspberry Pi's USB port with an FTDI cable.
