Verify GNSS tracking before connecting to NTRIP Service

Open WildBuckwheat opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Many people use RTK2go.

RTK2go bans IPs that connect to their caster without sending GNSS data. If your antenna becomes blocked, or you have a flaky USB connection, or any other GNSS hardware issue: straight to jail. https://discourse.agopengps.com/t/rtk2go-ip-bans/8774/49?

Would it be possible to verify that GNSS is tracking before connecting to an NTRIP server? Also to also stop an existing connection if the GNSS receiver stops tracking? That would prevent the banning.

Using RTKBase Caster service is off course a great workaround :-)

Hi!

It is possible but it will cost some Cpu ressources. If I add this feature, it will be optional.
