Depotdownloader downloading new manifests over old manifest builds

What did you expect to happen?

Back 1 year ago, I was able to download old versions of games without having them autoupdated to the latest with depot downloader. I expected that with GBF:R and Black Myth Wukong, I could download an older manifest and play that, since the hacking tools (freecams) only support the older versions. However, upon downloading old manifests, they update to the latest version.

Instead of that, what actually happened?

They update to the lastest version with old manifests.

So after copying Black Myth Wukong to my steam directory after Steam Depot Downloading, it crashes after launching with a black screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?
