When I install Steam Milenium it doesn't open Steam and when it manages to open I only get a steam webhelper error and when I restart it Steam Milenium is automatically deleted. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Steam several times but the same thing happens and when I install it for the first time Everything was going well except that the steam webhelper error appeared several times but when I restarted steam millenium was still installed

Expected Behavior

to open steam with steam millennium installed

Steps To Reproduce

I install steam milenium with all the default settings and without any steam beta selected and the error occurs that is only removed when I uninstall steam milenium

What is the "steam webhelper error" you receive? This is likely an issue with your antivirus messing with Millennium.

Here is an image of the error I took from the internet because I am not using the computer right now mioiY

having same issue, steam could be working but if closed for some time and trying to open it nothing will happen then a minute later this same error appears

@Coolkid2342 What signifies "some time"? Minutes, hours, after a PC Sleep etc.

@shdwmtr both, sometimes it wont happen after a couple of hours, sometimes within closing the client down to the task bar.

whenever it freezes, follow these steps and post them here:

(start from "To check, go to http://localhost:8080/" to the end) https://docs.steambrew.app/users/trouble-shooting#installed-but-not-showing-in-settings

I also have this issue myself. Happens at random. I've tried reinstalling Steam, opting in and out of Steam beta, reinstalled Millennium several times. Hoping someone coud help me out here. I'm not particularly tech-saavy. After reading the last message, I've managed to run Steam in -dev mode and gone through the console instructions. But I am not sure what I am looking at and not sure what to post here. Thanks.

@Henryz21 show your entire screen including the console as specified in the docs! https://docs.steambrew.app/users/trouble-shooting#installed-but-not-showing-in-settings
