IE navigation bar is cut off

The navigation bar gets squished or cut off in IE. Chrome works fine. The demo does the same thing for me. IE version 11.689

I don't see an issue with the navigation bar. The sidebar, on the other hand, seems to have an issue with the "expansion" indicators:

That's what I was seeing. Also it will squish any logo you put up top left if it's set to full width of blue bar. Chrome renders ok.
