[bug] Kiosk mode fails to restart after setup

I think this ticket is about:

  1. Plug a monitor in and see kiosk mode on the screen
  2. unplug the monitor
  3. Replug the monitor and although the kiosk mode script is still running and firefox reopens, the monitor doesn't display anything
