Developers have to step away from projects sometimes, that's just part of life. I'm thankful for the amazing work we've seen already on this project, but if Stardusten has stepped away is anyone willing to fork the repo and take over from where we are now?

I might be able to offer occasional implementation help, but I just don't have time to be in charge of a project.

It looks like Obsidian's Roadmap now has visual table editing actively in development.
