Comment import

We're going to have to use the Disqus comment importer if we want to get the comments on the existing WordPress. This is something we'll have to try when there isn't a lot of activity on the existing blog.

Some nasty errors trying to import using the Disqus built in tool. Turning off the cache and basic troubleshooting isn't working. Going to try using their API to port in.

Going with an alternative approach here since attempts at importing Disqus really aren't working. Going to use the exported XML from WordPress to generate archive pages of older comments, then starting fresh with Disqus for new comments. We think that old posts shouldn't be getting new comments anyways, we just want them there to be read.

Finally got Disqus to respond. Expecting a turnaround tomorrow or the day after.

Okay Disqus is really shitty at getting back to us with support. Going to our plan B to create a static archive, and if we ever hear back from Disqus on getting imports later, great. We can't keep this from shipping any longer.
