ASP.NET Core support

Open gdoron opened this issue 9 years ago • 5 comments

Hi,

Are there any planes on supporting ASP.NET Core in this library? It's specially important since SignalR was pushed off V1.0.

I just fiddled yesterday for couple of hours with WebSockets in ASP.NET Core, and though they were pushed away from Nuget.org to MyGet.org, I managed to integrate WebSockets into a real world ASP.NET Core application.

I don't have a roadmap / schedule for it, but yes that is a long term aim; however, I suspect this will require pretty much a rewrite of the socket code, which is most of the library!

6 months into the future, is there a road map for this?

@Droritos MS teams are still working on sockets in ASP.NET & .NET Core so they're probably waiting for that to be finished. Should be released (maybe in preview SLA) in 1.1.0 according to their roadmap.
