If the turtle entity (for moving) hangs around when the turtle isn't moving, then could probably just ride that. Otherwise, might have to make some sort of ghost entity that hangs around saddled turtles, unless there are ways to mount tile entities? Perhaps look at how bibliocraft seats work.

I'm a bit iffy about this, as there are existing mods which add the same functionality (Peripherals+1). While Plethora doesn't exactly strive to be unique, I'm not sure I want to directly rip something from another mod.

While I agree blatant ripping of an idea from a mod isn't the best way to go, having as much stuff people want into one mod so server don't have to have 3 million different mods with potential conflicts I feel would be a better way to do things.

I don't think anybody is going to object to having this feature twice on their modpack, and if they really care, they can disable it on one end or another. Also nobody plays anything except SwitchCraft.
