key and key_up events duplicated

Char events work fine, but "key" and "key_up" events are always sent twice.

I'm on Linux, using Firefox 124.0.1.

Oh very odd! I'm also on Linux, and don't see this at all (Firefox 125.0b4 on Wayland, but haven't seen on previous versions).

I'm also on Wayland. This happens on a clean Firefox profile, but not in Epiphany or Firefox 115.9.1esr.
